About the artist
Zero The Kidd, is from Boynton Beach Florida and representing 561. He was in music since when he was in 2nd grade. He started learning by violin, piano. Then influenced by his father and uncle he got in Rapping and start practicing rap music seriously from 9th grade when he was in high school.
Despite of taking it as hobby he always look into it as professional level for future. Amon used to go for rap battle everyday at school lunch and it was really embarrassing for him to get low score everyday there. But it helped him a lot and grow the interest in music seriously. Amon Martin-preston aka Zero the Kidd says –
“Doing those rap battles really made fall in love with music and how some words can affect someone and everyone around them so much I was amazed with it”
Thing were going well but suddenly everything twisted in a moment when his father got into prison and his mother almost abandoned him. This was the most crucial time for him as all those raw emotions and pain were coming out through his words. His fans are loving it as they can connect these emotion with them.
His major influences are Lil Wayne, Eminem and Eazy E. Zero says this about his influences –
“They all are very talented and don’t care what people think about them they wore their heart on their sleeves and kept it real”
Zero the Kidd is becoming an inspiration to his fans by his powerful words and positivity.
