Listening to Rick Denzien reminded me of Anthony Kiedes from the rock band Red Hot Chilli Peppers. It starts with a strumming of the guitar resounding of reminiscence and then slowly the tune softens to blend in with the artist’s voice as he sings “I realize that we got something to say/we better say it now before it all slips away/ And I know it would be easier with no words to say/ But it was never meant that way”.
The good point about the songs sung by Rick Denzien is that the lyrics are embedded with meanings that are easy to comprehend. It is not overburdened with artistic expertise that we often get to hear in most of the songs. Both the lyrics and the tuning have been kept in balance, which makes it an ideal song to listen to whether you are traveling or idling around or are with something. It is always better to point out the fact that you do not need to be a music artist to appreciate his songs. His latest release “More” is already out online on many platforms. About the Artist
Rick Denzien is a singer, songwriter, and studio technician hailing from Buffalo, New York. The artist takes to the stage a mix of sharp songs from the edges. Described as ‘rock-n-extreme
folk’, his song “Go Out and Play” is a rallying cry for over-worked ordinary citizens, over-burdened by the daily worries and stresses of early 21st century life.
Some of his popular works that are loved by his fans are to name a few — “Use Your Fingers” to KGR Kool G Rap “Half a Klip” to Michael G. Ronstadts “Bridging the Gap”, “Foolish Fox” and “Game of Thrones” and everything in between including the Lyra Project’s “Goddess” CD.
