New Album Release by Maxime Boublil – The Honest Me P1

The Honest Me P1 is one of the latest albums by the Parisian born artist Maxime Boublil. What’s unique about the release is that it sparkles a minimalistic sync of guitar and vocal synths. The artist’s pretty voice exemplifies the song as it begins in a pretty mellow manner in the opening track, “is this love?” and gradually builds into an explosion of encore of emotional fullness. The entire song gives us the feeling of the artist pouring his heart out into one lyrical delivery and his singing is good enough to hold its own place prominently in the mixes. The song is one emotional rollercoaster in terms of energy, expression and tone. The Honest Me P1 is a sincere indie pop album from a very talented individual.

About the Artist

Maxime Boublil was born in Paris, France, into a musical theater family. His father wrote Les Miserables and Miss Saigon, his mother was the first Cosette in Les Miserables in France. As a child, he played cello for eleven years but knew he never wanted to follow in his parents’ footsteps. Maxime studied photography at the Academy of Arts University in San Francisco and after a year realized that it wasn’t for him. He soon found what he was looking for when he walked into a friend’s dorm room one day and picked up their guitar. Soon after, he switched his major to Music in Visual Media and started composing. Maxime eventually pursued a career as an engineer at “Furstock Studios” with three-time aria award-winning engineer Doug Brady, all the while writing his own songs on the side.
