The original soundtrack to the final chapter of the Space Rangers game franchise – Hedgehog – A Guest from the Future is out now. Fans and anyone excited to hear the song can listen to it on YouTube –

A multi-genre computer game developed by the SNK-Games team with in close corporation with fans of the series, the story plot begins when a relatively interstellar coalition is invaded an organic warships of Klissans – a powerful enemy. The Ranger here is the player – belonging to a group of non-military volunteers who have undertaken the task of taking part in the battle and helping to defeat the menace.

The game has been compared to the likes of popular computer games like Star Control 2 and Elite.

Just like the game, the title track is dynamic and open-ended in fashion. Begin with a slow strumming of the guitar and followed by a tune that slowly open up the mood into a vast open space. The theme has rightly captured the mood and there is no doubt about that. It is intriguing to listen to. Note the mood of the song – deliberately kept on the light side, which enables the elements of the music to lightly take off just like the spacecraft.
