An original piece performed and produced by Asher Laub himself, the scene takes the viewer to a cliffy edge with cars running on a stretch of road that looks like a highway. As the cars rush across with the opening of the scene, Asher Laub begins playing his violin with full vigor as if to represent some sort of turbulence, but the turbulence in the opening song is what opens the gateway to a new range of music frequency that immediately follows afterward. To the listener, some might wonder about the meaning behind selecting this sort of style. Also, why the name Atlantis? Is there really some meaning to it? To understand the song, you need to look at the song as a character itself. The character here is life and hence the name “Atlantis.” The name could signify something big like an ocean, or it could draw reference to Plato’s Atlantis. It could be either of both, but I feel an allegory to life seen as a vast ocean of turbulence is a better way to represent the song.
