The Pop Trash Inc. are back and this time with a full-length album “Pop Trash Inc. 2.0” along with a new single “I don’t wanna be here”. The new single is already out on some of the major music platforms. Below is a link to the music video that you can click to listen.
This single is an energetic and upbeat pop song that clearly reflects the band being influenced by cinematics and pop culture. At the same time, they sure know their classics. Pop Trash Inc. is a Dutch pop band that formed in the year 2016. Fueled by mutual interest in the 80’s and the 90’s, this band started recording their original music. “It became clear right away that we had something worthwhile”, says the band. “The four of us just clicked and we knew the time was right to bring back that classic sound injected with modern production”.
So when you play the song, you will discover the essence of Synth-Pop-Funk-Rock mixed together with retro ’80’s and futuristic vibes backed with unique artwork and visuals.
The band states: “the total image is more important than the individual members” and “by investing in visual appearance Pop Trash Inc. succeeds to differentiate from other bands and stay in the public’s minds”.
Through their works, the band has succeeded to pave their way and influence people. Featured on the album is the previously released single “Footpring in the Snow” that received online attention and local radio airplay as an ‘unofficial James Bond theme’ to coincide with the release of the Bond-movie ‘No Time to Die. Also featured is a new version of their first ever single ‘Vertigo City’. For the observant listener: opening track ‘I Know now..’ and the last track’..What love is” form a surprising musical two-piece.
