In the midst of the pandemic crisis and despair that aroused after that, Jo Oliver’s new single release “Respect, Don’t Panic” comes in cutting through to bring the air of confidence and humanity among people that seems to have been lost- a result of after-crisis.

A Corona Rhapsody, in this power-packed song, Jo Oliver brings in a mixture of Funk and Soul, which is heavily guitar driven straight Rock. As can be understood from the song title, this is an appeal against the splitting of our society cause of different opinions (from scientists and citizens) along the Corona crisis. “The song is about respecting other people’s opinion and not judging them. To argue but not to defame someone… we have to the damage on both sides: the people that get sick and the people who suffer because of collateral damage. Musically the song is a mixture between hard Rock and Funk with a driving energy and a strong hook”.

Respect, Don’t Panic is his second song after first release “Shine On (You)”, which reached the German Amazon Charts and ended on Top 1 in Soul Category. He has also been listed on the Ranker chart among the Best Soul Rock Bands / Artists.
